Community Partners at Blount Island

Community Partners

The Blount Island Command Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT) office actively participates in, hosts and covers an array of visits and engagements both at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island and within our community.

Community leaders are invited to reach out to us for information and coordination, including inquiries about the availability of volunteers. The type of support you need will guide the requirements for your request. We look forward to connecting with you and exploring how we can collaborate to make a positive impact in our community.

Volunteers

We enthusiastically encourage Marines, Sailors and DoD personnel to engage in volunteer work within our local community. Please note that Blount Island Command cannot require any service member to participate in an event; all involvement is voluntary and should be done during personal time, not while on official duty. As such, military uniforms, as well as government materials and equipment intended for official use, may not be used during these volunteer activities. If you're organizing an event and would like to request volunteers, please reach out to us at BICPublicAffairsOffice@usmc.mil.

We're here to help facilitate these meaningful connections within our community.
