The materiel production department generates, sustains and regenerates ready-for-issue Marine Corps capability sets supporting maritime and ashore positioning programs worldwide. Through lifecycle management, maintenance oversight, supply accountability, aviation support and medical sustainment, the department maintains ready-for-issue standards across the Marine Corps' forward-positioned inventory.
