Blount Island Command operations personnel inspect an expeditionary wash rack system Jan. 29, 2026, at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Florida. Service members and civilians trained on the system to evaluate its operational suitability, maintenance requirements and integration into the Marine Corps’ afloat and ashore positioning programs. The wash rack is designed to improve equipment maintenance efficiency and readiness by supporting the cleaning and sustainment of forward-positioned equipment before operational employment.
