Facility Access

In accordance with Force Protection Directive 25-001, Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island maintains a baseline status of FPCON Bravo with additional U.S. Northern Command AOR-specific supplemental and command-directed measures, including 100% identification checks.

Access to this facility is strictly controlled, public access is prohibited. Common Access Cards (CAC) do not authorize guest access. All visitors on official business must check-in at the Pass and Identification Building (110), located adjacent to the main gate, and provide a valid driver's license with vehicle insurance and registration. Non-U.S. citizens are subject to additional vetting, which can take more than four days. Pets and weapons are strictly prohibited. For questions regarding access, call 904-696-3806 (Building 110).
